Mickey and Elaine Denny Mickey and Elaine both grew up in loving Christian homes. They were baptized and received the Holy Spirit at a young age and have committed their lives to Christ ever since. After graduation from high school, they both attended Bible College for one year before their marriage in November 1964. God has blessed them with two wonderful children, who have blessed them with and six beautiful grandchildren.
In the early years of their church ministry, Mickey and Elaine each taught Sunday school and were also involved in bus ministry. Over the years they have hosted many different small groups in their home. Currently they host and lead a home group called ‘Time in His Presence’. This home group has been instrumental in blessing homes and businesses. Mickey and Elaine have also led the popular ALPHA and BETA courses. Prayer has been an integral part of their lives and they are active in leading prayer groups and ministering to others in prayer.
Mickey’s ministry is characterized by an ever increasing passion for God and a love for people. For most of his adult life he has served his church home in the capacity of elder or board member including board member of the Bible College he attended as a youth.
In professional life, Mickey retired from Darigold in 1999 after 27 years. His career at Darigold included a variety of management positions in Data Processing and Customer Service. Currently he works part time for his son-in-law as Office Manager of NWPS.
Elaine is a supportive and loving wife, mother and now grandmother. Her giftings compliment Mickey’s, carrying the peace of God and a spirit of worship. Elaine’s efficient nature has made her a valued worker at various companies doing office work, and assisting her older sister in the management of a Bridal Shop for a number of years.
Elaine is actively involved in Sunbonnet Sue’s Quilt Club. She is very active and supportive in the lives of her grandchildren.
Mickey and Elaine are committed to Jesus Christ and His people. Their desire is to help build-up and equip the body of Christ, to help people grow and mature in their faith. They are excited to be involved in Redeeming Life Fellowship and to be a part of the leadership team. They are on a mission to know God’s heart and to walk in His presence always.
